Vijay, a special kid with almost 82% Locomotor Disability and Cerebral Palsy with Mental Retardation, is defying all odds to achieve greatness. Reaching the ambitious milestone of a National record seemed impossible given his circumstances. However, Vijay believes that challenges are placed in our path not to hinder us, but to ignite our courage and strength. With unwavering determination and dreams that have fueled him since childhood, Vijay has secured the ASIA BOOK RECORD, and LIMCA BOOK RECORD, AND INDIA BOOK RECORD for the HIGHEST ZIPLINE PERFORMED BY AN DIFFERENTLY ABLED PERSON
Despite the medical concerns and limitations associated with his condition, Vijay’s indomitable spirit and fearlessness have propelled him to reach greater heights. He attributes his success to his perspective, which has transformed his disability into super abilities, as well as the unwavering support of his special educators, trainers, and most importantly, his mother and family. Through guidance, training, and a winning mindset instilled by experts, Vijay has achieved remarkable milestones. His journey to success has been a culmination of small victories, such as exhilarating zip-lining adventures and participation in various adventurous sports activities. He has harnessed his skills and focuses on what he can do, never allowing his limitations to define him. Vijay firmly believes that being disabled should not disqualify anyone from experiencing all aspects of life and aims to break down barriers and expand his own horizons.
Since childhood, Vijay has nurtured a deep desire to soar high in the sky, even though his disability prevented him from doing so. However, his enthusiasm has turned his life into a magical journey. Whether it was childhood trips or boarding an airplane, he never let anything hinder his exploration of new and exciting experiences. His earliest adventure in zip-lining left his family and those around him amazed. Inspired by his mother and family’s unwavering support, Vijay realized that he was ready to take flight and expressed his dream of soaring through the clouds high in the sky.
